Expanding Pyglet’s Animation Support

Pyglet currently offers very basic animation support, as part of the new sprite support. Today I have been overhauling the animation system to allow a few more complex (but very necessary) features, such as pausing, seeking and looping on a sub-range.

My updates aren’t quite ready for prime time, but they should offer a lot more flexibility, and I will submit them as a patch to the pyglet developers once they are complete. To the updated animation support in action, you can watch the quick video of my most recent project, after the break.
