Pixel Lemmings

Happy New Year, everyone! Just a quick update on my current project, a lemmings-like game prototype using pyglet and python (video after the break). This is to be the basis of my udevgames entry this year, if I manage to stick to schedule 😉

    • It is pretty straightforward – you compute the overlapping area, and test each of those pixels. If a pixel matches, you have a collision. The interaction is actually the tricky part: in this case objects always start not collided, and each time an object is moved, a collision check is made, and the object is moved back to the last position if there is a collision.

When I have time (hopefully sometime early March), I document the code, and post it online.
